The sound of an 80s prom in a war zone…located in the dead heart of country music, Nashville, TN.
That is the sound and spirit of Palm Ghosts, as far from the honky-tonks and pedal taverns of their adopted city as one can get. More at home in rainy Manchester or blustery Berlin, the trio weaves early cinematic dream pop and new wave with brooding post punk.
Spin Magazine says Palm Ghosts is "A Heat Seeking Missle for Early Alternative Rock Fans"
Manchester’s Analogue Trash describes Palm Ghosts as “Achingly beautiful, fragile and majestic music. An intoxicating mix of Shoegaze and Dream pop, taking from the 80’s but not in debt to it”
South Africa’s Jangle Pop Hub has said the band has “An inimitable 80’s style dream pop that mixes the avaricious swirl of The Cocteau Twins, the atmospherics of The Cure and the grandiosity of Echo and The Bunnymen”
Palm Ghosts is:
Joseph Lekkas- Lead Vocals, Bass
Benjamin Douglas- Guitar, Vocals
Walt Epting- Drums, Percussion
Astronotever is locals Ben Hinz (Ronald Raygun) and Josh Ingersoll (The Heart Pills), a high-energy drum-machine space-robot rock-and-roll outfit.

December 2021, they released their debut record, How to Kill Creeping Charlie, blending a Patti Smith early punk ethos through a guitar-driven '90s Seattle pastiche, interweaving sonic experimentation with irresistible hooks. With this, the 10 tracks on How to Kill Creeping Charlie—ranging from quietly reflective to all-out rocking—paint a vivid picture of youth and the alienating times we live in, and how to find redemption.

From Acha Koo:
I am Acha Koo, I enjoy making music because it is a way for me to express my emotions and truly show who I am as a person. Music has always been my source of strength. When I went through hardships, singing and making music was my therapy. I joined 35K Records because they believed in me and my talents. Like they say, when no one believes in you, they don’t care, they believe in you. That is what sparked and made me believe my dreams of becoming a singer is attainable and I decided right there and right then, that I’d become a part of 35K Records. I always loved Marilynn Monroe and Frank Sinatra so my goals with music in the future is to become a jazz musician but I would also love to branch out and try other genres of music as well because why not challenge yourself!

Gundo
Growing up in small town Northern Wisconsin, emerging Contemporary Country Music Artist Ethan Gunderson (Gundo) had a lot of influences to his music. In an area dominated by farmers, factory workers, and fishermen, Gundo heard plenty of traditional country music through the years. That paired with his dad’s hard rock and the hip hop of his peers built just the basis Gundo needed once he finally found the type of music he loved.
It wasn’t until Gundo was out of school that he heard artists like Zach Bryan, Bailey Zimmerman and Koe Wetzel - this new type of country music which was growing in popularity at the time. Immediately he was hooked by the realism in the lyrics that hit him especially hard as a concrete laborer, spending much of his life on the road, which strained many friendships and relationships.
Prior to 2022, Gundo had never sang in front of anyone, but one night he was talked into singing Zach Bryan’s “Something In The Orange” at a karaoke bar in Eau Claire, and from there it was history. He was re-introduced to his guitar player Jon Kaiser, who he went to school with, and by the end of the first night together, they had written a song. By the Spring of 2024, Gundo had over a dozen songs written and in July, Gundo and Jon traveled to Columbia, Missouri to record the Chose For Life EP with producer Myles Clayborne.
Later that summer, Gundo and Jon were joined by drummer Wolfgang Zank and bassist Matt LaBine, and Gundo’s band played their first show in October to over 150 paid attendees for their EP Release in Ladysmith, WI.
Now as an active songwriter and touring band, Gundo is currently booking for 2025 and planning to release more singles and his second EP in early 2025. The first single off that EP, titled "Twisted", will be released on all platforms February 7, 2025!
Wolfgang Zank
The child of a prog pianist and booking agent, Wolfgang was steeped in the world of traveling musicians and diverse sounds from an early age. The influence of his upbringing and inherent talent ensured that Wolfgang was destined for a life in music.
He has already been an integral member of numerous touring bands, while still passionately supporting the local music scene with a couple bands of his own. Wolfgang's determination to advance his career is unwavering, as he continuously seeks opportunities to make a profound impact on people's lives.
His life is driven by a dual mission: to share the gift of music and the gift of life. Through his performances and interactions, he aims to bring joy, inspiration, and solace to those around him. With each note he plays and every melody he creates, Wolfgang seeks to touch the lives of people with the powerful and transcendent force of music.
COLE DIAMOND LIVE AT THE PLUS

Doors 8pm | Showtime 8:30pm
FRIDAY, JUNE 6TH
208 S BARSTOW STREET
EAU CLAIRE, WI
Mixing up an unlikely concoction of vintage rock & roll and outlaw country, Cole Diamond is, depending on when you ask, either the stage name for singer/songwriter Ryan Otte or the collective handle for Otte and his Band. For years Otte spent most weekends behind a drum kit playing with too many bands to list. The idea for Cole Diamond came about as a way for Otte to step out from behind the drums and try his hand at the front of the stage. In the years since “Cole Diamond” was conceived he has released two EPS, a string of singles, received airplay on 89.3 The Current, and opened for national acts such as Jenny Don't & The Spurs, Corb Lund and The Wilder Blue. Drawing on influences that range from Waylon and Willie to Brooks & Dunn, Cole Diamond delivers a modern take on a classic sound.
"It is old school outlaw music of the 1980s – think Waylon Jennings or Leon Russell. I loved it."
- Ann Treacy, Mostly MN
"I Challenge you to find a purer strain on Honky Tonk in the Twin Cities"
- Carol Roth, Adventures in Americana
Cole Diamond is a Minneapolis treasure and his latest EP is a shining example of good writing, good taste, and down-home good vibes".
- Bill Stoneberg, The Sound 89.5 FM KQAL Winona, MN
The Driftless Revelers
The Driftless Revelers formed in the second spring of the first global pandemic of the 21st century, with one ear turned toward the shellac platters and Victrola virtuosos of the early to mid 20th century, and the other ear glued to the soundscapes of the 1960's & 1970's American freak-folk scene.
Since their debut tour in 2021, the band has billed with Grammy winning bluegrass legends like Tim O'Brien & the Gibson Brothers, toured extensively throughout the Upper Midwest performing with other amazing artists like Big Richard, Willy Tea Taylor, Davey Allen & the Midnights, and had breakout performances at several festivals and events (Sol Grass Music Festival, Mile of Music in Appleton, WI. featured in Rolling Stone Magazine).
These Eau Claire, Wisconsin based weirdos have earned a cult following of devoted fans from Minnesota to Michigan who appreciate their irreverent, highly original, and sometimes slightly psychedelic interpretation of American roots music with a Midwest twist. Their live show banter and thoroughly entertaining sets have earned them comparisons to Ween, Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show, They Might be Giants, Tenacious D, Cheech & Chong, and the Holy Modal Rounders. Their debut record, American Fork Standards (2022), was well received by their family members, and a few other people who said nice things about it. Their most recent record, Live at the Slowpoke Lounge & Cabaret (2024) captures the band's deadpan comedy and musical chops in a lounge environment that demands a proper listen in a leisure suit with a scotch & Pall Mall.
Featuring the original songwriting of Ben Nelson, Matthew R. Sayles, and Jerod Kaszynski, the Driftless Revelers will pleasure a crowd with plectral wah pedal banjo tones, the mournful wailing of resophonic steel guitars, and the up-right bass bellows of an era that can't quite be defined, but revels in the timeless ephemera of weird old-time American music.
With influences as varied and eccentric as a proper musty smelling thrift store record collection, the band grooves merrily through early roots blues and jazz music, to hillbilly and string band howlers, all the way into the not-quite folk but not-quite psychedelic realms of their own creation.
A Driftless Revelers show will lure you in with their joy--keep you dancing with their search for the cosmic groove in the confines of stringed instruments--and will send you on your way with flashbacks of the Driftless Revelry found only in the essence of the intangible reaches of notes once played-- that then fall silent.

J.E. Sunde (Jonathan Edward Sunde), a Wisconsin native, is now a Minneapolis, MN based songwriter/composer. Beginning in the years studying western classical music with an emphasis in vocal technique at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, Jon spent a decade writing beautifully unusual music with indie-folk trio The Daredevil Christopher Wright.
He has since released four solo records, his most recent being Alice, Gloria and Jon. (Vietnam Label) all amassing millions of streams on Spotify. Speaking of his third studio album 9 Songs About Love, Tastemaker Bob Boilen of NPR speaks of the album "as a fight against melancholy that ends up in a surpassing place — it also speaks to the notion of knowing when a good idea has turned into a great one."
With an affinity for the classic American songwriters and performers like Leonard Cohen, Nina Simone, and Paul Simon, Jon writes densely poetic songs with a bent toward the philosophical.
There is subtle witty humor threaded throughout the live performance as the music pirouettes between introspective balladry and infectious bouncy folk-pop numbers.
“J.E. Sunde is one of the greatest indie-folk songwriters around.”
- Daytrotter
“His soft falsetto voice and his gift to write flawless ballads are reminiscent of the Paul Simon of the seventies.”
