The Here to Beer Community Bike Ride is a 24-mile roundtrip fundraiser bike ride open to all kinds of riders and all kinds of bikes – regular and e-bikes alike!

Starting at 9:00am before the ride, gather at Haymarket Plaza just outside the Pablo Center in Downtown Eau Claire to check-in and get your beer wristbands. During this time you can also purchase coffee and snack waffles from the Shift Cyclery & Coffee Bar tent!

At 10:00am the mass group will depart to ride 12 miles at a casual pace up the Old Abe State Trail – the fully paved multi-use trail connecting Eau Claire to Chippewa Falls. There we’ll stop at the famous Leinie Lodge where all participants get an included 4-beer sample flight (you pick the brews!). You could even do a little Leinie-based shopping.

After that, we head back down the trail to Eau Claire where we hit up the indoor/outdoor space of the Brewing Projekt along the river for another full pint of a beer of your choosing. Hang out here as long as you’d like, where a food truck will be on-site as well for those who worked up an appetite.

That’s it! An easy, fun community day on bikes with friends and family. And it all raises money for CORBA - the volunteer- and member-based organization dedicated to building, improving, and maintaining multi-use trails and promoting activities and events on the trails in Wisconsin’s Chippewa Valley, including mountain biking, trail running, snowshoeing, hiking, and more. Consider becoming a member!
