ABOUT OUR FEATURE PERFORMERS
Gena Gephart lives in Chicago, IL where she pursues writing, stand up, and sketch comedy. Gena’s sharp brand of comedy reflects her dry, feminist perspective and has been called “awkward in a good way” by several drunk bachelorettes. She has opened for comics like Michael Che, Pete Holmes, and Natasha Leggero, and has performed at the Limestone Comedy Festival. Gena produces a monthly all-lady storytelling show in Logan Square called Ladylike as well as hosting the weekly Ladylike Podcast. She contributes to Reductress and Thought Catalog and is a cast member at the Lincoln Lodge. In her spare time, Gena enjoys sitting quietly in the dark and teaching her cat to be less fat.
Hailing from Cleveland Ohio, Greg Kennedy has made his way up the ranks in the Chicago comedy circuit in just a short time. Audiences are hooked by his explosive energy and devil may care attitude. Greg was the first winner of the competition show “Verified Laughs” at the Laugh Factory in Chicago in 2018 and was the runner up in the in the “World Series of Comedy” in 2017. He was the weekly host at the Comedy Bar in downtown Chicago for the Tomato Throw Showcase in 2018 and 2019. He’s performed in the 2019 Cream City Comedy Festival, Asheville Comedy Festival in 2018 and Indiana’s Let’s Fest comedy festival in 2017. Greg was nominated for “Best Host in Cleveland” for the Cleveland Comedy Awards located at Hilarities East 4th Theater in 2017. He can be seen at comedy clubs and shows all over the country.
