Event Details

Comical, sometimes sentimental, but always entertaining, a Krismas Kookies concert features original music in four part harmony with a light-hearted and humorous look at the holiday season and winter in Wisconsin.

Their original music written by Warren Hermodson, with arrangements made by the other members vary in style from song to song. Some of the songs are based on folk music but others give a hint of jazz, mariachi, blues and even Eastern European folk music. The music captures many perspectives of the season: from family gatherings (egg nog ingredients, a special Christmas sweater, cookies, frustrating relatives, lutefisk), holiday travel (for Santa and Rudolf even to Putnam Hights), winter in Wisconsin, holiday decorations and others.

Join Warren Hermodson, Pat McGinnis, Bill Simon, Ken Rogers and Steve Wells as they sing, laugh and play their way through original tunes about family get-togethers, shopping, Santa, and more. Come listen and pick out your favorites from Deckin’ the Halls in Old Mexico, Lovely Christmas Sweater, North Pole Blues, Dysfunctional Family Christmas or Get Those Reindeer off My Roof.

The group will have available their second album/CD called “A Second Helping of Krismas Kookies.” CDs are available at the concert as well as on-line through Amazon and other major music download sites. Greet your holiday season with a smile. Tickets are available at the door prior to each performance and on-line here.
