Chippewa Valley Roller Derby will celebrate the arrival of springtime in the Chippewa Valley with the Spring Thaw Derby Brawl! This event will be a double-header, featuring 2 games of hard-hitting roller derby action! For the first game, CVRD welcomes Team UP- a team of the best skaters from Michigan's Upper Peninsula to take on the CVRD All-Stars, and the second game will feature CVRD's 2 home teams: Bad Axe Brawlers and Sawdust City Rollers!

In addition to 2 games of roller derby madness, CVRD will keep the fun rolling during breaks in the games with raffles with tons of experienecs and gift certificates from local businesses, and will feature a halftime performance from Mars Galactic Jazz!

Center Ice Club will provide alcohol service for this event. Doors Open at 3:00 PM, First game whistle at 4:30 PM. This event is family-friendly; Tickets are $10 at the door, kids 12 and under are free. Bleacher seating is available, but trackside seating will also be available.
