JARED PORTER

Jared is a Madison based stand-up by way of South Carolina and Mississippi. He has opened for Shane Torres, Phil Hanley, Jeremy Piven, and others at comedy clubs throughout the Midwest, and has been a finalist in Madison’s Funniest Comic competition. His comedy and general worldview is informed by being a southern redneck learning how to fit-in in the Midwest. Talking about his unique life perspective that spans the deep south to cheesehead country, Jared’s observational comedy picks on everything around him, including himself.

ANDREW RYNNING

Andrew Rynning is a comedian, improviser, and writer based in Madison, WI. He has been featured on the Best of the Midwest showcase and has opened for Caitlin Peluffo, Aristotle Athari, Rachel Mac, and more. Andrew also hosts the monthly late-night variety show Capitol Comedy Hour. He has performed improv since 2018 with Monkey Business Institute and Atlas Improv Company, and took up writing in 8th grade once he realized he was terrible at math. Andrew is from Milton, Wisconsin, which is generally regarded as unfortunate for all involved.

Ben O’Connell

Ben O’Connell is a stand up comic based in Madison, Wisconsin. He’s performed at clubs and venues across the Midwest and has opened for comics such as Yannis Pappas and Caitlin Peluffo at Comedy on State. He also cohosts the Argus Open Mic and is a writer for Madison’s late night show, Capitol Comedy Hour. Ben’s comedy focuses on his experiences in politics, sports, and growing up Catholic in Wisconsin.
