ABOUT OUR HEADLINER

Washington, D.C. native John Conroy brings an everyman's attitude to smart, sharply written material that runs the gamut from shrewd observations to social satire. Shortly after moving to Minnesota in 2008 his peers voted him Best New Comic in the Twin Cities, and the following year he took the top prize in the Funniest Person in the Twin Cities Contest. Over the next two years he made a rapid transition from opener to headliner, playing hundreds of shows each year and touring the top clubs throughout the midwest and East Coast. Conroy is a jovial iconoclast whose good-humored but aggressive act makes a lasting impression.

OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS

-The Plus and Clear Water Comedy are absorbing your ticket fees. Order in advance, and pay no fees!

-Seating is first come, first serve.

-Online sales close at 6pm the day of the show. If you are accessing this site after 6pm the day of the show, tickets can be purchased at the doors when they open at 7:30pm. The show is not- we repeat- NOT SOLD OUT unless there is an announcement that says so directly. Please do not call the restaurant to inquire about tickets.

-Please pay close attention to the start times. We will complete room setup and a souncheck and allow for customers to enter the room, pick a spot, and have dinner before the show as early as 6pm. We will not check tickets until 7:30pm. The show starts at 8pm.

-The Plus is a full service restaurant and is wheelchair accessible. Dinner and drinks are available and can be ordered at the bar or from one of our servers.

-All tickets are will call, print at home, or e-ticket. No physical tickets will be available or provided. When you buy in advance, a list will be present at the door to assure your entry.

-No video or photography is allowed during the performance.

-Clear Water Comedy and The Plus reserve the right to remove or deny service to anyone behaving in a disruptive or disrespectful manner. No talking, texting, heckling, or other type of disruptive behavior is permitted. You many be asked to leave the show if any of these occur. There will be no refunds if this happens.
