Valentine’s Day Beer Tasting/Pairing Event

Join the Owner/Head Brewer Jon Christiansen and his crew on Valentine’s Day for a special Zymurgy beer pairing class. 

You will get to enjoy Belgian ales and sours paired with cheeses, and big bold barleywines and Russian Imperial Stouts paired with chocolates. Learn about the basics of beer pairing and engage in an open discussion about the flavors of each special beer. 

All beers except one have been barrel-aged in bourbon or wine barrels, and some have been in the barrel for over 2 years!

Since attendance is limited to 18 people, this is a perfect and delicious social distancing event for an intimate Valentine’s day afternoon. 

Bring your lover, or come solo! Max group size is limited to 6 persons due to social distancing and seating availability.  

A total of 6 beers will be paired, and the entire Zymurgy tap lineup and to-go options will be available for this private event if you desire to continue the experience at home. Expect this event to last about one hour. Guests are invited to stay afterwards to enjoy the Zymurgy taproom while we open to the public at 3pm.

Barrel Aged Thorzuul 2019 : Semi-sweet Chocolate w/ hazelnuts

Barrel Aged Thorzuul (direct from the barrel 2020) : 90% Dark chocolate

Barrel Aged Coffee Marzanna 2019 : Semi-sweet chocolate w/ berries
